Alan Love Sr. started his race horse training career in 1981 and has gone on to become a multiple stakes winner starting an impressive 1248 horses over the years and winning over $1 million in purses. And Alan doesn't limit himself to only one breed. He has had great success in both Thoroughbred and Arabian horse racing.
Need proof? Some of his more prominant winners include:
Kid Halo who broke is maiden at Retama Park, TX in 2004 and became an allowance winner in 2005. This horse went on to win over $50,000 in purse monies.
Cookin's Cast, a Mr. Prospector grandaughter, who became a multiple allowance and stakes winner with almost $130,000 in purse money.
Ruffaroundtheedges, an Irish bred mare who broke her maiden in 2007 and went on to become a multiple stakes winner making almost $200,000 in her career.
More recently he has helped to exercise and train some of the top Arabian race horses in the country for Quarter Moon Racing Stables. Owner, Scott Powell, can attest to how instrumental Alan was in the daily exercise of some of his key horses such as top 2014 3 year old colt Paddy's Day and the record breaking older mare MS Dixie.
Alan was also on hand helping some of the newer prospects learn what horse racing was all about.
How does one create so many winners? It's really very simple. Alan personally rides each horse and formulates the best training plan for each individually. There's no better competitive edge than that. You get both an expert rider and trainer on your horse and you can be assured that things will be done right. Alan knows horses from the ground up and can help mold new prospects to bring out the best they have to offer.
Racing starts in Texas soon so if you need race training, you now have a source. It's Alan Love Sr.
